We were delighted when we received a call from PC Andy Mott asking if he could visit Eynsham Hall, where he started his police training in 1976.
From 1946 for 35 years, Eynsham Hall was a District Police Training Centre and provided basic training over a period of 12 weeks to Police Constable Recruits. Even today so many ex-policemen return for a nostalgic visit.
PC Mott is Thames Valley’s longest serving officer and will be retiring after 40 years dedicated service. To mark this special occasion he arrived for a photo shoot with colleagues to where it all started.
We wish PC Mott a very happy retirement.
